Board-certified OB/GYN provider Marguerite Brathwaite, MD, F.A.C.O.G, offers the best in whole-woman obstetrics and gynecology services at Innovative Women’s Care in Las Vegas, Nevada. Dr. Brathwaite focuses on helping her patients enjoy the best health. 

Dr. Brathwaite earned her Bachelor of Science in chemistry at the University of Manitoba in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, and then went on to the Loma Linda University School of Medicine in California to earn her medical degree. She also served as executive chief resident at Martin Luther King Jr. Community Hospital- Drew University in Los Angeles, California. After completing her residency, she served as Chief of Obstetrics and Associate Medical Director at Southwest Medical Associates, where she worked for 23 years. In addition to her leadership role there, she was a member of the HPN Grievance Committee and Quality Review Committee, where she served as a peer reviewer, and help to set standards of care policies and protocols.

Dr. Brathwaite provides a wide array of services, such as well-woman exams, pregnancy care, sexual health care, hormone therapy such as BioTE®, and birth control. Using the extensive knowledge gained over a career of more than 20 years, Dr. Brathwaite cares for women in all stages of life, and specializes in adolescent gynecology, high-risk obstetrics, and menopause care. Dr. Brathwaite also excels in minimally invasive robotic surgery for hysterectomy, fibroid removal, and other women’s health needs. Her goal is to make each patient feel like a family member.  

The Las Vegas Review-Journal featured Dr. Brathwaite as an OB/GYN expert in articles about human papillomavirus (HPV), cervical cancer, and premenstrual dysphoric disorder (PMDD). Dr. Brathwaite is a proud member of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology and is licensed to practice medicine in both Nevada and California. 

When not caring for her patients, she loves to travel, spend time with her friends and her daughter. She enjoys trying new restaurants, attending concerts and movies, and watching sporting events and comedy shows. She also tries to maintain her health by exercising regularly. Dr. Brathwaite is a past secretary-treasurer for the Jack and Jill Organization, a group of mothers focused on nurturing young African-Americans through volunteerism, philanthropy, and leadership training.
